First Time Visit to Nepal (Kathmandu)

Hello Expat Community,

I will be visiting Kathmandu for a couple days (Aug Protected content 1). Just wanted to see if there are some hidden sites or restaurants that you would recommend to see. I was thinking about doing a trip to Bhaktapur/ Patan to see what a less touristy place is like but also see Kathmandu too.
