ITALIAN FOOD FILM FESTIVAL (Kathmandu)

The Italian Cultural Centre in Nepal, in collaboration with Moksh
Live, is proud to organise the first ITALIAN FOOD and FILM FESTIVAL at
Moksh Bar, Jhamsikhel, Patan, starting from Tuesday 3rd April at 6pm.

After the opening event, twelve Italian movies, all with English
subtitles, will be screened every Tuesday evening at 6.00 pm. Live
music, organised by MOKSH Live, will follow...

After each movie there will be tasting of Italian Prosecco and a
special Italian plate to order, in the informal environment of Moksh
Live Restaurant.

For the occasion and after every Tuesday screening, Zonin winemaker,
presents “Prosecco”, the famous white, crisp and bubbly wine that is
the perfect for an Italian Aperitivo.

Starting with Nuovo Cinema Paradiso Protected content Award Winning Drama
by Giuseppe Tornatore), on Tuesday 3rd of April, this Festival is an
overview of the Italian Cinema from the early days until now.
The festival includes some of the most acclaimed films in the history
of the Academy Awards: Life is beautiful, Divorce Italian style, The
Sweet Life, Il divo.

Italy has always being fascinated by Himalaya’s landscapes, history
and traditions. The Italian Cultural Centre is proud to present a
trilogy on the theme: Milarepa, a Protected content about Tibet, Little
Buddha, a Protected content by Bernardo Bertolucci with Keanu Reeves and The
last Emperor, the Protected content Winning Movie by Bernardo Bertolucci.
