Hello, we're looking for a roommate to share a 3-bedroom apartment in Sanepa, which is only a 15-minute walk to UN House, Jamshikhel and Kupondole.
This spacious, earthquake resistant apartment, which is right opposite the Greenwich Village Hotel, is newly constructed, fully-furnished and located in a central area very close to supermarkets, vegetable stalls and all kinds of restaurants. The apartment gets sunlight throughout the day in all the rooms since there are no buildings blocking the rooms. It has a master bedroom with attached bathroom, two bedrooms, a large living room, dining area and a kitchen with a small balcony and a common bathroom. The rooftop is accessible to everyone and has a Protected content view of Kathmandu and the Himalayan range with a sitting area where you can soak in the sun during the winter.
The available bedroom is Rs. 33,000/month inclusive of 24-hours WI-FI, hot water and back-up power. The only thing extra is electricity, which goes at the market rate (no profit to the landlord). We may share the cost of hiring a didi who would do laundry and clean the apartment once a week.
It's one of a kind, cozy apartment where you can feel at home and difficult to find elsewhere. The price is definitely worth it and we recommend that you come and see it!
Myo is from Thailand who has lived in London and Yuko is Nepalese who grew up in Tokyo and lived/worked in the SF Bay area and Thailand. We're both young professionals who are pretty easy-going, friendly and open-minded, and looking for the same!
