Retiring in Nepal (Kathmandu)

I spent 10 months living in Pokhara. I love Nepal. I always think of her with the fondest memories of backpacking Asia for two years. My heart is to move there permanently.
I checked into a few things which didn't seem to pan out in time. I had to leave as my visa was running out and I realized that I didn't want to go.
It's been a while and I still hope and dream to move there and live. I would be happy with a wife, house and a dog, lol! I love Nepali people. I miss the cows and buff's walking down the street. The mo mo's, mmm.
What is the country like now, problems?
I need to find a way to move and live there as a resident. Can I get some suggestions from those who have already done this? I would appreciate it.
