New in Khartoum

Greetings, we will be moving to Khartoum by the end of this month. Wish to meet nice people and be good friends...

I have a question, some said that we cannot receive money transfer from UK and cannot transfer money to other countries from Sudan as Sudan only have local banks and has no international connection. The only way to receive and send money is using Western Union. Is that true ?
