Social activities in Khartoum

Hello everyone!

I am moving to Khartoum in late September or early October and I just wondered how you guys out there gather up for social activities, how often and what kind of activities? usually a fair number of participants?

Under normal circumstances, my stay in Khartoum will not be a short one so I would be very glad to make friends and join activities with both expats and locals.
