Members attended April Commemoration event (Kigali)

On Friday 17th April, InterNations members of Kigali Community met at Discover Rwanda Youth Hostel to commemorate Protected content Genocide.

We observed 1 minute silence to pay respect to genocide victims. We could hear some testimonies from members who lost their parents during genocide. It was tragic to remember that brutal past. We shared drinks with our Rwandan friends to ease their grief through talks and could collect some donation which was finally donated to AEGIS trust through their website.

The event also saw presence of several journalists who could see how InterNations is working hand-in-hand with local community and participating in the development of Rwanda.
