TASOK Performing Arts Department is mounting their most ambitious show ever: a full-scale musical performance of “The King and I.” The lavish production will include a full live orchestra comprising TASOK students and faculty, community members, as well as a contingent of musicians from Kinshasa’s renowned Orchestre Symphonique Kimbanguiste.
“The King and I” is a historical drama based on true events, set in colonial-era Bangkok.
Show dates are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday the 5th, 6th, and 7th of December Protected content . Curtain is 6:30pm. Tickets are on sale now from all cast members or by contacting Protected content : $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Concessions will be provided by some of TASOK’s sports teams.
