Safety in Kinshasa

Hi!!

I'm moving to Kinshasa next July for at least 4 months and honestly the more I read in the Internet about the life and security in Kinshasa the less I like the idea of moving there.

I guess that using common sense it is not such a dangerous place to live in but I would like to hear from people that actually lives there what things I should specially take into account such us live in a certain part of the city, hire a driver, etc...
