Need advice with everything! (Kobe)

My husband, daughter (9 months) and I will be moving to Kyoto in late September. I am trying to figure out the best way to go about finding housing, English speaking pediatrician, etc. I am not sure how long it takes to find housing and when/how we should start to look. I don't speak any Japanese, but my husband does. Any advice/information about relocating to Kyoto would be welcome.
