Thinking of moving to Japan as an English teacher (Kobe)

Hi guys,
Really general question to ask, whats it like living in japan?
I really want to live there but we don't want it to be one of those experiences where it is so challenging that it becomes an experience you want to run away from.
Is anyone an English teacher? Whats it like? Is it mainly business English? Do you have to travel from company to company? What are the work ethics like? Social life ?
