I host a meeting for English-speakers every Wednesday evening near the rynek. Here is the description:
The English Language Club meets every Wednesday, 6 to 8 pm on the second floor at ul. Sienna 5, Krakow (the street beside Zara (formerly Empik) in the main market square, two floors above the ground floor).
The purpose of the meetings is to meet people from different cultures and speak English. This is different from a “Language Exchange” or “Tandem”. This is for fluent English-speakers who want to meet people to speak English. You don’t have to be a native speaker, but you should speak English fluently. Almost always there are more than 30 people – some foreigners, some students, some local people. The only requirement is to participate and speak English. The English Language Club has met year-round every Wednesday except Christmas Day since Protected content .
Each person should chip in or cough up 2 zł to pay for the room. There is tea.
