Tender Readings for children (Kraków)

Czuły Barbarzyńca would like to invite all the kids for the special edition
of our Tender Readings, which will take place on Sunday, 13th of October at
12.00.

In the celebration of Translator's Day we will host an event which involves
reading in different languages a famous Polish poem for children called
Locomotive by Julian Tuwim. There will be a reading in English, Italian,
German, Spanish, Ukrainian, French and Polish.

Also on Sunday we invite you for our weekly art workshop for children:
TEACHER’S DAY is coming and along with it another in a series of creative
workshops for children Imaginarium in Czuły Barbarzyńca Bookstore, during
which, we will make the most beautiful present box for our favourite
teachers. We cordially invite you!

The workshop will take place on Sunday, 13th of October from 13.30 till
15.00 in the Czuły Barbarzyńca Bookstore at Powiśle 11. Workshop cost is
20zł. Number of places is limited - please notify participation in advance
by e-mail by entering the following address: Protected content name
and age of the child. Workshops are dedicated to children aged Protected content we
do not rule out the participants in different age). The organizers provide
an hour and a half of creative fun and all the necessary materials. Works of
art created during the workshops become the property of their young
author’s.

Karolina Kornek is an illustrator specialized in children’ books, engraver,
designer and academic teacher in illustration studio at the Academy of Fine
Arts in Katowice. She works with children since 6 years during which she has
been organizing and conducting art workshops in cooperation with DADA
Workshop in Gliwice and Café Gazeta in Cracov and summer art camps for
language schools. Among most interesting projects she has been taking part
in, one can find workshops in cooperation with
North Wales School of Art and Design, at Łódź Design Festival or Industriada
in Katowice.
