A best place to live for a single expat (Kuala Lumpur)

Hello,
I was just informed that I will leading an engagement in KL in June for 6 months so trying to find a best place to live while I am working/staying there. Somewhere convenient with lots of restaurants and bars (do they have bars in KL?) and where I can easily find fellow expats.
