Any Americans moved to Malaysia? Need input :) (Kuala Lumpur)

I'm curious to chat with any US citizen that have moved to Malaysia for good or a few year working assignment. I'd need advice on everything from how to go about getting a proper visa for such an activity, to where to look for jobs, what kind of jobs are available, what sort of compensation can one expect, etc.

I am currently on a one year working holiday visa in New Zealand so still have a long time to plan things out. However I have just spent six months on a working holiday in Singapore and really want to return to the region, but prefer Kuala Lumpur instead. I've also done a one year working holiday stay in Australia in Protected content .

I am in marketing/business development with experience in transportation and construction fields... but I'm open to any opportunities in any field.
