Bangsar or Bukit Bintang/Ceylon? (Kuala Lumpur)

Hi - I moved to KL earlier this year and am now considering moving from Bukit Ceylon to Bangsar but want some thoughts on Bangsar as I haven't spent much time there.

I'm early 30's and I would like a nice furnished place that is walking distance to food, decent bars, cafes etc. Is Bangsar a nicer spot for expats or much the same as Bukit Bintang?
