Crazy International Comedy Night with Kristel Zweers (Dutch) and Jonathan Atherton (Aus) at Upstage Lounge Bangsar (fisrt floor of Rendez-vous Restaurant).

Kristel Zweers: Dutch stand-up comedian. Founder of Comedy Café Singapore. Kristel Zweers Kick-started her comedy-career by winning the second prize in the Dutch Lucky Strike Comedy Talent Tour in Protected content . Ever since she has been performing at about every comedystage there is in Holland. As one of the few female comedians she managed to survive the harsh comedy scene, became a regular head-liner and toured Holland and Belgium with 3 of her own 90 minute solo-shows. In Protected content was part of "De Lama's" the Dutch version of 'Who's line is it anyways'. In Protected content part of her first solo " Onschuldig" was broadcasted on tv. She has performed for the Dutch in . Since she moved to Singapore in June Protected content has been performing in English and also this time she didn't stay unnoticed. She toured with various comedyshows to Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, China, Curaçao, Bonaire, Singapore, KL, Brunei, Dubai,Portland USA, Jakarta, Beijing, Guangzhou and Borneo.

Jonathan Atherton will be the M.C. for this special night ! He is an Australian international comedian. He has performed comedy in UK, Europe, USA, Australia, New Zealand and all over Asia.
Known as 'The Laugh Guru' for his efforts in establishing and growing the Asian comedy scene and sharing his knowledge with local performers, Atherton is Australia's most travelled, most multi-lingual comedian.
He is founder of The Comedy Club Asia, Crackhouse Comedy Club, Comedy Bootcamp, Comedy Club Cambodia, Kings and Queen of Comedy Asia... and was the first Mat Saleh to perform standup comedy in Bahasa Malaysia, Indonesian, Thai and Swahili.
He has also performed in German but maintains that jokes simply don't work in that language.
