Cost of living (budget) in Malaysia - 2017 (Kuala Lumpur)

hi,

can anyone please advice me what would be the cost of living in malaysia. we are a family of 4 (kids 6 yrs & 9 yrs). i am in the process of planning and was preparing a budget.

only thing i am confused is how much should i keep for foods (glossary). mostly will be having meals at home except weekends may be.

MY Protected content be enough thats what i came to know from some of my colleagues who are already living there.

please advice.
