Dependant visa (Kuala Lumpur)

Hi

I hope someone can help me out. I am working in Malaysia, but in the process of changing jobs. My husband is here and we have not applied for a visa for him yet as I will need to apply again once my new EP comes through. He has been leaving the country every few months, but was told on Tuesday on his return into the country that he has to get the visa sorted and they only gave him a visa for two weeks.
We have tried calling immigration, but the phone is either busy or there is no answer.
Can anyone advise on what our best options are.
