Difficulty in second hand car loans for expats :( (Kuala Lumpur)

Have you guys come across difficulty for applying for second hand car loans, when buying directly from an individual in Malaysia?
A lot of banks have denied my requests saying they only give the loans when applied thru dealers and not fund direct cases.
And few other banks demand for a local guarantor to get the loan sanctioned.
Only a handful of banks (namely Public and CIMB) offered me a loan that too only 70% with max of 5 year tenure :(
I was looking for a 90% financing for 7 to 9 years tenure, for car which is just 2 year old.
Please share your experiences and any contact who can help me get the best deal. Thanks ya !
