How to live in LKL (Kuala Lumpur)

Hi all . I'm new to this site ! What I'm looking for is tips and as advise on leaving Australia to live in KL, I'm a safety professional in mid to senior management, what is required for me to head over ? Can I buy a apartment ? I have my own company just started with patents in y hand, it's an Australian company but would like to take with me to KL ! I'm hearing and reading that if I live there I have to Leave every 12 months in order to get a new visa, any help would be much appreciated Paul
