Malaysian Driving License (Kuala Lumpur)

Hello,

I have been in KL for about three months now. I need to get a local driving license. I was told that I needed to have my employment pass stamped on my passport before applying. This has recently happened. Does anyone know how to get a local license? I have a license from overseas (Australia and UAE) and as per the website it is a simple conversion. I have been to JPJ and was literally taken for a ride. A lot of money later and I still don't have a local license.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I should go about this.
