Monthly budget? (Kuala Lumpur)

Hi, I've been offered a decent job with one of the "Big 4" accountancy firms. The salary is good; but I have concerns about how much I can save vs the monhtly budget (because MY does not practice superannuation...)

Can anyone tell me from their experience what is the average monthly budget in KL excluding housing costs (assuming a couple, no children, just one income)?

Also, if any members have experience of saving to a superannuation fund/pension in their home country and how much they are able to save each month, that would be helpful!
