Moving to KL in 2017? (Kuala Lumpur)

Hello Everyone!

I am from Istanbul, Turkey and the company that I am currently working for offered me a position in KL for Protected content .

I had several expat experiences in different countries (the Netherleands, India, Singapore) but I have never been to Malaysia.

I tried to collect a lot of information about KL but I think the best would be to get the opinions of the expats living in KL.

I am mainly curious on the following:

- Does the following package sound enough for saving some money:
Salary between Protected content RM, company will provide a fully furnished apartment

- I am from Turkey, a secular country but its population is 99% muslim. I heard that muslims cannot drink (beer, wine, etc) in Malaysia, is that only for locals? Should I be worried?

- Can I live with my girlfriend?
