New to KL (Kuala Lumpur)

Hello all
I am new to KL and looking at meeting likeminded people. I have 2 months left of no alcohol for the year, so not being a patron at my local pub kind of isolates me (although the price of alcohol over here is enough to sober anyone up. So I'm looking for people to socialise with who enjoy being active (running, swimming, gym martial arts???), know where to get decent coffee and good local food, hit the cinemas and someone to practice my Bahasa with. I also feel I should learn how to play golf. So if you are also new here or have any recommendations inbox me.
