Tax case (Kuala Lumpur)

Hi everybody,

I want to ask you guys about my case:

I have started my job on last September and of course they were deducting from my salary 27%.

One of my friend told my that you have to spend 6 months in the same year in order to get your full salary, That means they will continue deducting till June ?

Is that right ? because it doesn't make sense,

please advice and if it's true when I can claim the period from Sep. to Dec ?
