Thiland Visit Visa for Forign Workers process? (Kuala Lumpur)

Hi,

I want to visit Thailand on Chinese new year holidays (10th of Feb) , i have Malaysian professional work permit and its just 1 month old and i am holding Pakistani passport.

My question is that can i get Thailand visit visa from KL ? What are the requirements for foreign workers ? one of travel agent confused me that your work permit must be 1 year old then you can travel from KL. is it true?

Please share if someone have any knowledge about it.
