What about Chinese New Year 2015 in Malaysia??? (Kuala Lumpur)

Hi, as I could see this year Chinese New Year is on Protected content . What does that mean for the public life in this week? Is there anybody working or is this a reason for the people to have some days off?

Would it make sense for me to visit KL at this time trying to organize some things for my movement mid of the year? Or should I better postpone?
