What to do if we lost cellphone (Kuala Lumpur)

Hi KL expats. Today I left my cell phone in the Grab taxi and after 20 min I recognized it, when I called him, he claimed nothing is in his car, he got two customers after me and they also claiming they did not see anything. Is there anything I can do, except to report to the police?
