A very nervous Newbie (Kuwait City)

Hi there, My husband is in the very early stages of negotiating a possible position based in Kuwait City. This would mean a move for our family from the UK where we have always been based. We have two daughters 9 & 16 and to be frank, the prospect is terrifying me. The research that I carried out so far does not make Kuwait look like a place to bring our girls, so many forums tell stories of danger for my 16 year old in particular with nothing to to for any of us and where the local service is poor, everyone is rude and the roads are horrendous!! Surely this cant be everyones view? I really want to make an informed choice and dont feel I'm getting the full picture thus far. Could anyone give me an idea of their own experiences? Many thanks x
