American International School and Kuwait City

Greetings!

My husband and family(2 boys, ages 6 and 2) will be moving to Kuwait City in July/Aug. I was looking for some input regarding the American International School and the Salmiya area. What is the school administration like? What is the general environment? If you have/had children there, what is one positive and one negative about the school as a parent?

In addition, looking back on when you first moved to Kuwait. What are Protected content that you would do different, given what you know now?
