few Questions (Kuwait City)

I am about to travel to Kuwait on a short assignment (6 months) and I have a few questions and I am wondering if someone could help me.

1) Can women smoke in Public? I understand that there is a smoking ban and you can only smoke in designated areas. But is it ok for a woman to go?

2) How safe is for a woman to drive alone?

3) Is it possible to use the swimming pools in the hotels paying a fee?

4) Can a single woman go to the beach?

I have heard lots of mixed answers for these questions and I was wondering if someone can shed me some light.
