Expats using their car to transport people for money will be deported

Expatriate who violate traffic law by using their personal car to transport people for money, will be deported in line with administrative decision, said Assistant under secretary for traffic affairs Major General Abdul Fathah Al Ali.

Meanwhile anyone who feels that he has been misjudged or aggrieved has the right to refer his or her grievance to the traffic investigation committee, local daily reported quoting him as saying.

He also said traffic violations will be written off five years from the day they are registered or five years from the day the violator is informed about it or when the person who committed the violation dies.

He also said that the article 33 and 42 of the traffic code allows the registration of citations using traffic monitoring cameras.
