Moving to Kuwait (Kuwait City)

Hi All,

I've been approached by my company about moving to Kuwait for Protected content to manage a project. I'm hoping you can help me answer some questions. I visited Kuwait this week but was only there for 1 day.

1. What salary would I need to live a good quality of life as a westerner in Kuwait (company will cover housing, car, maid, school for my kids, flights home once a year,etc. but I would be deducted for the amount of tax I would have paid back home.

2. What do you do for fun in Kuwait?

3. What neighborhood should I live in and what schools do you recommend (I have two girls 11, and 88). We looked around Salimya

4. What do you like most about Kuwait? What frustrates you most?

Is there anything else I should know about living in Kuwait? I have read that the government is making life challenging for expats.
