Renting an apartment or villa in Kuwait can be difficult at times. Everyone has different stories about poor landlords, a lazy hares, air conditoning problems et al. Expatriates still can't buy property in Kuwait, but tenants do have rights under the law.
Generally, rental prices are lower the further south you go from Kuwait City. Most people travel northwards for work in the mornings, so the Fahaheel Expressway Protected content generally choc-a-bloc around 7am. You may pay lower rent living in places like Mangaf or Mahboula, but you can easily spend 1 hour or more in your car each morning if you work in Shuwaikh.
Perhaps we can start a discussion here about rental, especially if we have some legal people in the community.
