Life in Lagos 2012 with family

Hi
I have seen lots of old posts about family life in Lagos, but what is the current situation. Concerned about bringing children with regards to safety, schools and health issues. We have all the benefits for acc, schools and housing. But would love to be able to chat to a mum living in Lagos now with kids.
