Moving to Lagos

I am moving to Lagos on July, with my wife and 9yo child. Which school will you recomend? As far I was able to investigate thru internet, I find Internation American School (AIS) the only valid option.
I will visit Lagos for the first time in the next few weeks.
Is it difficult to find a house/apartment to rent ? Where in the island would be the best place, taking in consideartion the quality of the houses and of course, the security.
