One of our clients in the Oil and Gas Sectors is looking to hire a Personnel Supervisor
Job Location: Basrah Iraq

The purpose of Personnel Supervisor is acting as a lead person in the delivery of human resource services with specific responsibility for implementing personnel policies and regulations; addressing a variety of issues and/or providing general support; overseeing the maintenance of records, files and databases of personnel actions, evaluations, licensure, and tenure; and assisting the Personnel Manager in ensuring that personnel functions conform to all applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Competencies Required:
•Supervising Staffing
•Monitor all the implementation of a process for recruitment and hiring, including but not limited to interview arrangement, employment approval, on-boarding of new hired etc.
•Maintaining Personnel Policies and Procedures
•Fulfilling Daily Personnel Management
•Handling Grievances
•Discipline and Dismiss Employees
•Be responsible for other duties assigned by the section manager.

Person Specification:
•A degree in HRA or MBA Public Relations / Finance / Human Resources will be an advantage from reputable university
•Be knowledge on the project management & technical service contract in the oil industry
•Have experience in the recruitment and HRIS
•Advance Certification in Human Resources will be an advantage
•10 years of working experience with 7 years of related experience;
•Fluent in the English Language
•Proficiency in office software,
•Professional knowledge of HR
•Be good at change management to adjust the plan and solution whenever needed to ensure timely deliverables.
•Stress management capability to deal with unexpected challenges or issues in a positive way.
