Pet dogs in Lagos

Hi, I'm due to be moving to Lagos next year in connection with my husband's job. I would like to bring our small dog. Does anyone have experience keeping a dog in Lagos. I believe we will be living on a compound. Are there any veterinary clinics you can recommend. Our dog's vaccinations, incl rabies are up to date. Would appreciate any tips/advice.
