Possibly moving to Lagos

Hello everyone, I have recently been approached for a job offer on VI and I am curious to hear more about it. I have worked in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania before and loved it, and was curious to see how VI stands up. I have never been a big fan of exclusively EXPAT communities, (as I got into this to see countries and enjoy the local life), but I would like to hear about the VI community, cost of living, for eating out and social events and other such things.

I would be traveling alone but would have my kids visit from time to time. Any help is greatly appreciated.
