question regarding to export (Lagos)

Right now I am trying to operate a business in Nigeria. A person that is citizen of Nigeria trying to get the source for me, and the source of good would be send out to other countries. In order to have this business going, the person has required funds from me first to buy the goods. When he collected all the good he will notify me. This process takes between 2-3weeks. My only concern is what happen if the person takes my money without giving me goods.
So can you kindly advise what are the options that you can recommend me to carry out this business
