Schengen Visa help! (Lagos)

Hi guys, I am a first time traveller to Europe planning a two weeks vacation and a Nigerian passport holder. Can anyone advice which Embassy to apply from for a Schengen Visa, as I really don't want to get rejected.
Any help will be welcome, please. Especially if someone can refer me to anyone working in the Embassy, that would be great. Thanks
