Safety for a caucasian expat (Lahore)

Hi guys,

I am a Pakistani filmmaker who has always lived overseas in New Zealand. I am going to make a project in Pakistan and for that my partner in project is coming to Pakistan. He is a white male and quite anxious about his trip given the security in Lahore.

Seeing him feel anxious, I am worried myself as I have never seen white people in Lahore and I dont really wanna babysit someone too while I ll be working on the project.Would it be safe for my friend to stay for a few months and film in outdoor locations.

It be great if I can hear from someone from europe/states/OZ whose actually living in Lahore.
