Flat -> Permit -> Bank Account tips (Lausanne)

Hi all,

I'm sure most of us have been through this, you need a flat to get a permit and be able to open a bank account, but for permit you need a flat, and for a flat you need bank account, etc.

So, I was wondering if anyone has a good tips how to solve the situation? I'm starting working next week, and would like to get an empty, long-term rent flat, but don't have a permit yet, and no bank account either.
