Studying in Lausanne

Hi Everyone,

I am thinking of applying to UNIL for a Master's program and would like to find out more information about life in Lausanne.

I'll be applying from Kenya and will finance my own studies. I'm concerned about the cost of living e.g. rent, food, transportation. Any advice on living on a student budget? Are there jobs for English-speakers? What's the social life like?
