how to find movies in English (Leipzig)

Godwin has already started a routine of taking a group to the Sneak Preview at the beginning of each month at Cinestar. (For those not familiar with this, it is a movie in English, but you don't know what it's going to be until you get there and start watching. The tickets are about 4 Euros). This is always a fun group to join up with, so keep an eye out for reminders each month.

For those looking for additional movies in English (or any other language) in Leipzig, two cinemas which frequently play "OmU"s (that stands for Original mit Untertitel, or original version with subtitles) are the Passage Kino (downtown) and Cinematique in der NATO (Suedvorstadt).

Basically, if you haven't learned German yet, you look in the program for OmU. If it says "deutsche Fassung" you will end up committing the aesthetic crime of watching Quentin Tarantino in German.

Speaking of which, who wants to go see Django Unchained (in English) this Monday (the 28th) at 9 p.m.? It's playing at Passage Kino, so right downtown. I want to see it!
