runners needed for Frauenlauf (Leipzig)

On Sunday, 5 May at 9 a.m. in the Clara-Zetkin-Park, I would like to be standing at the starting line with a team of internations women to participate in the Frauenlauf.

This is a fun-run dedicated to raising money to support women and children who have survived domestic violence and to fund housing facilities for them. The idea is women running for women, but all you guys are welcome to turn out and cheer us on. And to make us a sandwich afterwards.

It would be great to have an internations team for the 5k. We can divide into runners and walkers if there are those who want to participate but will not be able to train up for a 5k run.

Please leave a note here if you are interested. You do not need to be a fantastically good runner- my current 5k time is a disgrace. It's more about turning out and showing some solidarity among women.
