Curaçao (Lesser Antilles)

Greetings all! My spouse and I are currently living in the U.S., both of us are U.S. citizens and have lived here our whole lives. Our three- to five-year plan is to move to Curaçao. We are only in the earliest stages of planning, and we have not been there yet. We were initially planning on Aruba, which we have been to, but we learned that Curaçao is more gay-friendly so we would prefer to live there. Does anyone in this network live in Curaçao or have experience living in the ABC islands? Thanks!
