Position: COO of Biz Latin Hub - Legal, Accounting, Administration Services

"The Biz Latin Hub is a privately owned business consisting of a series of individual companies that operate under a group umbrella, with a light corporate foot-print. Over the past two years the group has established itself as a market leader in helping both local and foreign companies to successfully do business in Latin America, by providing a full suite of back office and support services, including bilingual Accounting, Legal, Administrative, Recruitment, Training and Marketing Services. As a result of recent growth, the company owners have decided to split the group into two operational groups, with each reporting to a COO. As such we are looking for a COO to lead the Legal, Accounting and Administration Services. This position would start with a staff of approximately 40 to 50 spread across 6 countries, this part of this business has current revenue growth between Protected content (8)% per month (and solid margins), with a lot of scope for continued and accelerated growth. Role: With limited oversight the position is responsible for Managing Group Operations, spanning Peru, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Mexico and Panama with the aim to accelerate revenue growth, whilst keeping a high degree of control on costs.

Reporting too: Company Directors (Craig Dempsey and David Wright)

Direct Reports: Country Managers (and Personal Assistant)

Location: Lima, Peru (with regular travel across Latin America)

Commencing: Q3 / Q Protected content

Remuneration:

Will consist of both a Fixed Base Salary + Commissions (Paid Bi-Annually) linked to the achievement of Group Profit Targets and time to the company. It is envisaged that the base-salary will commence at a market-competitive level for Peru (but on the lower side) and increase progressively over Protected content Protected content according to an agreed salary plan linked to the achievement of targets. The structure and location of remuneration payments is fully negotiable, as well as holiday provisions.

Responsibilities:

- To manage group day-to-day operations
- To work with individual country managers to develop and manage company specific growth plans and financial forecasts
- To oversee group efforts to identify and win group-wide (i.e. LATAM wide or Multi-Country) clients
- To help develop and oversee a group expansion plan within the Region
- To improve the group weekly/monthly reporting system
- To ensure processes for key activities within each country are both streamlined and common within the group
- To implement a streamlined, but simple bid approval process to ensure suitable oversight is provided
- To manage and report to the company directors on the group financial status and forecasts
- To represent the group at events and/or with clients
- To foster and develop a Group Wide Business Culture

Requirements:

Education, Skills and Experience:

- Protected content Protected content professional working experience
- Must be degree educated (ideally in a legal, accounting or business field)
- Must have lived and/or worked in an English Speaking Country
- Must have a high degree of English and Spanish
- Must have the ability to write professionally in English
- Must have experience managing a small business or country office
- Business Development experience is highly desirable (but not essential)

Personal

- Must be someone that is proactive and willing to commit to the company
- Must be someone who is willing to both task others (but also willing to complete work themselves)
- Must be a person that can present well in-front of clients and staff
- Must be willing to build strong relationships with senior staff and clients (both inside and outside the office environment)
- Must be someone willing and able to grow revenue, but also control costs
- Must be someone that is willing to travel (Perhaps up to 3 to 4 months per annum)
- Must be willing to travel on a modest, but reasonable budget
