First Australian group meeting - all welcome. (Lima)

I created the Australian group prior to arriving in Lima because there were other nationalities groups but none for us. We are a long way from home and we are also a proud people even when our politics are crazy. We have some of the most unusual sayings and expressions in the world, along with an interesting accent. Not to mention fauna that would scare the hell out of a foreigner that we simply take for granted... and lets not forget the legendary Drop Bear ! It is our duty to perpetuate this urban legend around the world.

I hope a lot of you try to make it to our meeting and there is no obligation to stay for hours... just say hello and take the opportunity to make a few friends. I will also be handing out some Vegemite for those that need a fix. First in first served until my sea freight arrives in September (I have lots more).

I moved to Lima to Marry and on the 12th July I was married to a wonderful Peruvian woman. If you have done the same, Id love to hear from you :-)
